Brooke Brown - principal coach

Brooke Brown is a passionate and visionary coach who brings energy, experience, and heart to everything she does at Ridgehaven Calisthenics. With over 35 years in the sport, Brooke is dedicated to developing not just strong athletes, but confident, resilient young people. Her coaching style blends high standards with genuine care, creating an environment where every performer feels supported, challenged, and inspired to grow. As both a leader and mentor, Brooke is committed to fostering a positive team culture that celebrates effort, progress, and the power of community.

Carmen Buckerfield

Carmen Buckerfield has been part of the calisthenics world for 24 years, including representing in multiple national teams, and has coached for the past 5 years. Her experience and passion for the sport shine through in every class she leads. She loves watching her teams grow from their very first class through to the final performance on stage. Carmen is dedicated to creating a supportive space where everyone feels comfortable, confident, and free to be themselves while enjoying the sport they love.

Laura Pylkkanen is a confident and passionate coach at Ridgehaven Calisthenics who is dedicated to supporting young students as they learn and develop their skills. She takes pride in creating a positive and encouraging environment, where her teams can grow in both ability and confidence. Laura finds great joy in watching her students progress from the beginning to the end of each year, helping set them up for continued success in the seasons ahead.

Gabby Howland is a dedicated coach at Ridgehaven Calisthenics, with eight years of experience coaching the Tinies section. She is passionate about developing strong foundation skills, helping young athletes build coordination, confidence, and a lifelong love of movement. Gabby prides herself on creating an inclusive, supportive, and fun environment where every child feels welcome and encouraged to shine. Her warm, positive approach ensures each class is not only focused on learning, but also on enjoyment, friendship, and teamwork.

Kate McMillan is a committed and supportive coach at Ridgehaven Calisthenics who has been part of the club for almost 20 years. She creates a positive, inclusive environment where students are challenged while building confidence, developing technique and growing into strong, capable dancers and athletes. Kate loves seeing the progress of her students from week to week and throughout the year, and is dedicated to helping every student feel proud of their achievements while fostering a love for calisthenics.

Lilly is an enthusiastic coach at Ridgehaven Calisthenics that always strives to do what’s best for her team. She adores working with her dancers and takes so much enjoyment not only watching them improve in their calisthenics skills, but building connections and relationships with her team. Lilly loves being creative with her team and choreography, and loves celebrating the little moments every lesson that brings her dancers joy.
