Wellbeing & Family Liaison Officer

Ridgehaven Calisthenics prioritises the wellbeing of our coaches and dancers.

We would like to introduce our Wellbeing and Family Liaison Officer (WFLO), Talia who provides this completely confidential service to all of our RC members.

To find out more about Talia and how you can get in contact, please read below.

Who am I?

Hello, my name is Talia.

I am a long serving member of the club and newly appointed Wellbeing and Family Liaison Officer.

I have been competing in Calisthenics for 28 years, representing South Australia across all sections and spent 8 years

coaching teams & soloists. I simply love Calisthenics and the opportunities it has provided me across my lifetime as well

as the people I have met!

Outside of Calisthenics I am a mum, wife and School Counsellor.

I have completed studies in psychology, mental health & youth work and in 2021 I completed post graduate studies in trauma, loss and grief counselling.

I have a HUGE passion for mental health and wellbeing, and believe that Calisthenics can play a major role in supporting positive mental health and a creative outlet for participants. I want to contribute to Ridgehaven being a positive learning environment and ensure the children are experiencing the best our sport has to offer!

Ridgehaven Calisthenics has introduced the Wellbeing and Family Liaison Officer to bridge a gap in supporting families and allowing coaches to do exactly that, coach your children. The WFLO will be the first point of contact for all issues regarding your child including grievances and issues arising in the classroom.

The WFLO will also support the children and coaches where needed to ensure they’re mentally ready to perform!
