Team Awards

Tinies: All girls who participate in the CASA Demonstrations in July/August receive a Trophy.

Sub-Juniors to Seniors: All girls who compete in the CASA Competitions in July/August receive an Award/Trophy depending on what Overall Placing the team achieved at Competitions.

Extra Awards

Sub-Juniors to Intermediates: Each coach will assess their team members on a weekly basis and award a 3,2,1 vote (similar to the Brownlow Medal) based on improvement, attitude, competence etc. All votes are held in confidence until the end of competitions whereby they are tallied and team awards placed.

Seniors: Senior Awards differ from year to year, but most years Most Valuable Team Member Trophy is presented.

Life Memberships

Life Membership is presented to members of the Club who give 10 consecutive Years of Service.

Arleen Mount Most Dedicated Club Girl Trophy

Arleen Mount was the Principal Coach of Ridgehaven for 21 years and she took the Club from B Grade up to A Grade where we have remained ever since. Her choreography was ahead of her time and she created some brilliant items, costumes and props. She dedicated her life to the Club and when she handed the Club over to Tracey Emes it was decided that a Trophy should be named in her honour. The Trophy is presented to the girl who has demonstrated dedication and commitment, and gone above and beyond to show true Ridgehaven spirit.

Claire Edwards Memorial Trophy

Claire was the mother of Natalie and Melissa Laing – two of our extremely talented pupils throughout the 80’s and 90’s. She was on the Fundraising Committee throughout these years and volunteered her time and efforts for the Club endlessly. She was a valued Committee Member and loved by all around the Club. Sadly, Claire passed away in 1996 and a Trophy was named after her and is awarded to the person or family who has been an outstanding committee member or volunteer.

Florey Fundraising Trophy

Named after the Florey Electorate who our Patron, Frances Bedford is a member of. Presented to the person or family who raises the most funds for the Club in the year.
